No problems, the instructions are clear. Only suggestion would be to have a quick step guide for those of us that have some woodworking experience. I understand the instructions need to cover the newbees and they do, for more advanced a fast track guide would be nice. overall very good value. Materials cost of $35-45 to make a $550 product. I'll take that anytime.

Look good. Make sure you pick the type of wood you like from the beginning. I had good oak stored in my garage for a long time. They came in handy for this project.

First one needed some touch ups because I rushed it but 2nd and rest look good. Wish I knew about this before I bought shutters for the upstairs.

Well it took a little longer than i though it would take because I changed my mind about adding a stain for color instead of painying them. But once i backtracked and used an appropriate wood that would take the stain the way I liked, it went well. The first one took some learning time going through the instructions but for the rest hardly needed to look at the guide anymore. They look awsome!! And for the price of raw materias. Cant beat it.
